My Work
As a journalist, I mainly cover entertainment, fashion, health & beauty, property, food and lifestyle in general, for various Danish publications. In London, I have covered big events, such as the BAFTA Awards and big West End film premieres, and I have done many celebrity interviews. My work is varied, and I have written about anything from spa-breaks to heartbreaks. From Strictly Come Dancing to poledancing. And from fashion weeks to viking meets. Some of the Danish publications that I write for are Kig Ind, Tidens Kvinder, Nyt fra Danmark, Vi Unge, Woman, Bazar and Olivia. I also write regularly for Sterling Airways’ in-flight magazine and have written for the in-flight magazines Wizzit and Runway – all in English.
As a PR worker, I write press releases and case studies from scratch, translate and alter English press releases into Danish and for the Danish market, do follow-ups, ring-rounds plus set up and attend press briefings. Working freelance for JustPR, I have done work for clients such as Google, SITA and WebTrends, including writing, translating, briefing journalists and setting up interviews. I have also done PR work for Ash Communications and the Danish online tv-channel www.myhorse.tv
As a translator, I offer my services of translating both from English into Danish and the other way round for various companies and other journalists, and I also often use these skills in my PR work. My skills are best put to use in translating work such as press releases, articles, and other communication texts, but I'm also always happy to take on other types of translations.
